Das Drehbuch des Filmes "Guaglione" mit Terence Hill basiert auf dem Lied "Guaglione", das 1956 in Italien ein großer Erfolg gewesen ist. Der Originalinterpret des Songs war Aurelio Fierro, im Film wird es allerdings von Claudio Villa gesungen. Der Song war damals so erfolgreich, dass auch viele fremdsprachige Versionen entstanden, u.a. nahm Dean Martin ebenfalls 1956 eine englischsprachige Version mit dem Titel The Man who plays the Mandolino auf. Dieser Dean Martin Song wurde schließlich 52 Jahre später für den Soundtrack von Mord ist mein Geschäft, Liebling benutzt.
