Oliver Onions at the Spencer/Hill festival in Ilmenau 2025 |
 |
On 5 September, Guido and Maurizio De Angelis were guests at the Spencer/Hill Festival 2025 in Ilmenau. They were accompanied by the ten-member choir Animeniacs Corp. The concert started at 9:30 p.m. on the Friday of the festival. In addition to Spencer/Hill classics such as ‘Flying through the Air,’ ‘Dune Buggy,’ ‘Bulldozer’ and ‘Banana Joe,’ their other hits such as ‘Sandokan,’ “Orzowei” and ‘Santa Maria’ were of course also included. However, quieter numbers such as ‘Stay’ and ‘Quoi’ were also performed throughout the set. When all the mobile phone lights came on in honour of Bud Spencer to the sounds of the flat foot theme, many fans had tears of emotion in their eyes. The atmosphere escalated completely when Bud Spencer's children Cristiana and Giuseppe and Ottaviano Dell'Acqua joined in the celebrations on stage during the song ‘Bulldozer’.
